Mourad Alsabbagh

Dr. Mourad Alsabbagh is the founder and lead nephrologist at Kidney Care Medical Center in Edinburg, TX, where he focuses on kidney disease, dialysis care, hypertension, and transplant-related kidney conditions for adults across the Rio Grande Valley. After many years caring for kidney transplant patients, he created Kidney Care Medical Center to give people more time with their kidney specialist, clearer explanations of their lab results and treatment options, and closer follow-up through both in-person and telehealth visits.

As an MD provider with advanced training in nephrology and transplant, Dr. Alsabbagh is skilled in managing complex kidney disease, including chronic kidney disease stages 1 through 5, dialysis, resistant high blood pressure, diabetic kidney disease, kidney stones, and autoimmune kidney disorders. He is known for listening carefully, adjusting plans step by step, and working side by side with patients, families, and referring doctors to slow kidney damage whenever possible and prepare thoughtfully for dialysis or transplant when needed.
